Accra will host the maiden Experience Volta Festival on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Elwak Sports Stadium — the first-ever cultural festival to unify all towns, traditional areas, and communities of the Volta Region on one platform outside the region itself.

Organizers say Accra was chosen as a neutral ground and strategic hub to give Volta culture greater visibility during the December in GH calendar, which attracts thousands of diasporans and international visitors.

Experience Volta in Accra will serve as a one-stop shop for everything Volta — food, music, dance, fashion, and tourism — while also offering Ewes in the diaspora and across Ghana a chance to reconnect with traditions they often miss.

Highlights include:
• A grand procession of chiefs and cultural groups
• A mini durbar of dignitaries and traditional leaders
• Exhibitions showcasing Volta cuisine, crafts, and tourism destinations
• An evening concert featuring top Volta Region artists

The festival is expected to boost cultural pride, strengthen identity, and create economic opportunities for SMEs, artisans, and creative talents.

“Experience Volta is more than an event — it is a movement to project the heartbeat of the Volta Region onto the national and global stage. By hosting it in Accra during December in GH, we are bringing Volta closer to a bigger market, creating opportunities for our people, and giving those who cannot travel home the chance to reconnect with their heritage,” said Eric Seyram Agbolosu, CEO of Ewevi Multimedia Ltd, organizers of the festival.

Experience Volta in Accra promises to be both a cultural celebration and a driver of tourism and business.
