The organizers of the Experience Volta in Accra Festival, scheduled for December 13, 2025, as part of the Ghana Tourism Authority’s “December in GH” calendar of activities, have paid a courtesy call on Council of State Member, Hon. Gabriel Kwamiga Atokple, at his office.

The event management team was accompanied by Zikpuitor Agbolosu, Torgbui Honu, a traditional priest from Aflao, and Torgbui Anokye from Weta. The visit was to officially invite Hon. Atokple to serve as a member of the Council of Patrons for the upcoming festival, alongside Torgbui Amenya Fiti Adzongaga V, who has already been outdoored as a patron of the event.
The Chief Executive Officer of Ewevi Multimedia and Ewe24 TV, Mr. Eric Seyram, commended Hon. Atokple for his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, development of Eweland, and economic sustainability of the Volta Region. He emphasized that these values align perfectly with the vision of the festival, which seeks to celebrate Ewe heritage while driving socio-economic growth through culture, tourism, and creative arts.

Mr. Eric Seyram appealed to the Council of State member to serve as a backbone for the festival, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure its long-term success and impact.
In his response, Hon. Gabriel Kwamiga Atokple expressed appreciation for the rationale behind the Experience Volta in Accra Festival, describing it as a commendable initiative that promotes unity, culture, and development. He urged all stakeholders to come on board to support every effort aimed at uplifting the image and prosperity of the Volta Region.
The Council of State member further called for total unity of purpose among all chiefs, elders, and the people of the Volta Region, emphasizing that collective effort and cooperation remain key to achieving meaningful progress.
Hon. Atokple also pledged the support of his Tanko Foundation towards the successfull organization of the festival, assuring the team of his personal commitment to its vision and sustainability.
