The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has pledged the full support of the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) toward the success of the upcoming Experience Volta in Accra Festival, following a courtesy call by a delegation from Ewevi Multimedia Ltd, operators of Ewe 24 TV, and the event’s management team.
The delegation was led by Mr. Eric Seyram Agbolosu, CEO of Ewevi Multimedia Ltd and Lead Organiser of the festival, and included representatives from the Centre for National Culture (CNC) – Volta Region as well as the Executive Director of the Volta Development Forum (VDF), Mr. Daniel Dzegede.

The visit, held at the VRCC in Ho, forms part of a series of stakeholder engagements ahead of the maiden Experience Volta in Accra Festival, slated for Saturday, 13th December 2025 at the Elwak Sports Stadium in Accra.
During the meeting, Mr. Agbolosu expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. James Gunu for his exceptional leadership and his commitment to uplifting the image and development profile of the Volta Region. He noted that the festival seeks to project Volta’s rich cultural heritage, creative excellence, and tourism potential to both national and global audiences, and therefore called for the Minister’s partnership and institutional support.

Speaking on behalf of the Volta Development Forum, Mr. Daniel Dzegede assured the Minister of VDF’s unwavering commitment to the success of the festival. He emphasized that the Experience Volta initiative aligns with VDF’s mission to promote socio-economic development, cultural preservation, and regional branding for Volta.
In his response, Hon. James Gunu commended Ewevi Multimedia and Ewe 24 TV for their continuous efforts in documenting, promoting, and educating the public about the culture, achievements, and potential of the Volta Region. He noted that the festival strongly aligns with government’s broader regional development agenda and tourism vision.

The Minister further assured the team of the VRCC’s full cooperation and support, describing the festival as “a timely cultural and tourism initiative that reflects the pride, unity, and creative spirit of the Volta people.”
The Experience Volta in Accra Festival 2025 is expected to attract thousands of attendees from Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, and the diaspora. The event will feature a cultural procession, a durbar of chiefs, live performances, food and art exhibitions, heritage showcases, and a high-energy night concert celebrating Volta’s best talents.
The organising team continues its regional stakeholder engagements as preparations intensify toward December 13.
